Job Responsibility
We are looking for a fuel manager who will serve as AGM for bulk boiler fuel procurement, transportation, storage, safety and security, analysis, distribution and accounting / inventory management and administration of the team members.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Responsible to arrange boiler fuel i.e. rice straw, cotton sticks, mustard twinges etc. for the to be commissioned 60 Ton bio-fuel vibrating bed boiler at BCL Distillery, Sangat Kalan, Bathinda.
• Liaise with local farmers, arrange meetings with village sarpanch / elder’s for procurement of boiler fuel
• Manage all facets of fuel logistics to ensure proper and timely procurement, movement to dump yard, stacking at site, delivery to boiler feed point etc.
• Ensure proper safety and security at dump yard with special emphasis on fire hazard and the precaution to be taken thereof.
• Responsible for receipt, storage, internal handling, accounting and inventory management.
• Comply with all environmental, safety and quality assurance requirements.
• Provide leadership and vision to the team.
Qualifications and Requirements
• Bachelor’s degree or an associate degree in agriculture business or related field.
• Ability to travel 30% of time.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Hindi with special emphasis on Punjabi both spoken and written.
• Ability to work in a fast pace environment since the window of procurement is open for a very short duration i e: max 40 days during harvesting season.
